Kingda Ka — the tallest roller coaster in the world (139 m / 456 feet). It goes from 0 to 206 km/h in 3.5 seconds. Riders wear special safety harnesses. The ride only lasts 28 seconds, but the queue is often two hours long. It closed in 2024 — too many breakdowns.

Formula Rossa — the fastest roller coaster in the world (240 km/h). Faster than a Formula 1 car at launch. Riders must wear safety goggles because the wind is so strong. The launch is like an airplane taking off. Minimum height: 130 cm.

Steel Dragon 2000 — the longest roller coaster in the world (2.5 km). It has a big drop of 93 metres. In 2003 a wheel fell off during a ride — no one was hurt, but the ride was closed for many months for repairs. Now it is one of the safest in Japan.

McKamey Manor in Tennessee is called the scariest haunted house in the world. The tour lasts 10 hours — actors chase you, scream, throw water. The owner offered $20,000 to anyone who finished the whole tour. Nobody has ever won. Visitors must sign a 40-page waiver and be over 21. Not for children!
