  2. Model answers · listen & retell (Section 14). For each of the four models, listen once, close the transcript, and retell in your own words in 30–40 sec. Record yourself on the last two — compare rhythm and hedging with the original.
  3. Listen and Repeat · lines 6–7. Re-record the two longest lines from Section 9b three times each — 12-second window is where most band-5 candidates lose points.
  4. Speaking Task 2 · Interview. Do a fresh mock: pick a topical setup (commuting · sleep · study habits · city life), invent your own 4 follow-up questions, answer each in exactly 45 sec with zero prep. Time yourself.
  5. Writing Task 3 · Discussion. Rewrite your response from Section 13 in 100–130 words (harder than 180–250 — you must cut, not pad). Keep clear position + one classmate reference + one specific reason.
  6. Revision block (14b). Play the 7 C1 core phrases every day this week — one round in the morning, one at night. On day 3 record yourself doing all seven from memory and compare.
  7. Vocab. Take any 6 of the 16 flip cards. Use each one in a spontaneous 20-second spoken answer to a made-up TOEFL question.
